With a hot, dry summer on the cards, it’s likely you’ll need to get out the garden hose pretty frequently to keep your plants happy. But as many keen gardeners will know, this can be a trying process. No matter how neatly you thought you left your hose coiled, when you come to use it, the hose will have morphed into a tangled mess with kinks aplenty.
You can say goodbye to all this with the new and improved Pope Auto Wind Hose Reel. It’s the perfect solution for a neat and tidy garden – no more hose coils killing the grass or providing a trip hazard – but it has also had a design makeover to make using it easier than ever. An improved internal mechanism allows for smooth, controlled rewinding, with a stop and go action that locks at the length you need – no tugging and heaving to get it where you want it to go.
Available in three lengths – 12m, 20m and a sizeable 30m – the reel has a new, slimline bracket to give plenty of mounting options; the best place is a wall that allows it to pivot up to its maximum 180° for simple and speedy watering. It can also be retrofitted to previous model brackets. Designed and tested in Australia, with rigorous quality control, the reel is UV treated to shrug off our sometimes-harsh conditions, while a built-in carry handle ensures it’s easy to move around.
What’s more, the Auto Wind Hose Reel is ready to use straight out of the box, with a mounting bracket and fittings, high-quality, kink-resistant hose, tap to reel connection, Pope’s unique Perma Fit connectors (designed to make drips and leaks a thing of the past) and a trigger hand spray all included, providing great value for money. If you were stuck for the ideal Christmas present for the green thumb in your life, you’re stuck no longer!
Some products are not available at all Bunnings stores, but may be ordered. Always check with your local council if watering restrictions apply in your area.
