Six ideas for kitchen makeovers on a budget
The original 70's style laundry we had to work with was dull, uninviting and had little storage space. With some clever storage solutions, new floor coverings and a fresh colour scheme, we were able to give it a modern, industrial look without breaking the bank.
By leaving the layout the same and not moving the plumbing or electrical, we were able to save time and money.
As you can see, just a few simple changes can give your laundry a fresh new look. And the addition of some clever storage ideas makes it a functional and stylish space you won't mind spending time in.
Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.
