Green indoor plant sensor being pushed into a white pot with a plant in it.
Using smart technology, Plant with Willow’s new indoor plant sensors tell you everything your houseplants need to grow and thrive.

Persistently droopy and sad indoor plants are a frustrating and expensive problem. If only your houseplants could somehow tell you what they need to grow… enter Plant with Willow. This smart plant sensor takes the guesswork out of indoor gardening, using technology to tell you in real time what your houseplants require to thrive.

Green indoor plant sensor products for your indoor plants.

How the Willow plant sensor works

So how does this source of insider information work? Once placed in the pots of your indoor plants, the Willow smart plant sensor measures the essential elements for a healthy plant: soil moisture, light exposure, room temperature and humidity. Each plant sensor pairs with the Plant with Willow hub, which can connect to a veritable jungle of up to 40 sensors, and updates your houseplants’ happiness score throughout the day via the Willow app.

Telling you what your indoor plants need to grow

Information is power. Plant with Willow goes one step further by giving your indoor plants the ability to speak for themselves and tell you exactly what they need to be happy. Soil getting a little dry? Temperature creeping up – or down – past comfortable? The Willow plant sensor will send your phone alerts to advise when your houseplants need attention, and what it is they require. On-time TLC means no more stressed and wilting indoor plants. You can also use the Willow app to quickly check on every plant’s wellbeing. With a rolling plant happiness score for every one of your charges, who says it’s not easy being green?

Personalised information for over 600 plant types

Willow understands that different types of plants have varying needs. And for every virtually indestructible plant, there’s a delicate green Goldilocks that needs everything to be just right (we’re looking at you, ferns). That’s why each sensor can be programmed to a specific plant type. The Willow in-app database contains more than 600 plant types, with detailed information on what each one needs, plus tips and tricks to help you grow your plant knowledge – along with healthy houseplants.
