Give your yard a boost with Scotts lawn fertiliser.

There’s a lot of advice floating around about the best way to take care of your lawn. Some people think watering and mowing the lawn every couple of weeks is enough. While this should help to keep the grass alive, it will be far from looking its best. So, what can you do to care for your lawn properly, without taking up any more of your precious time on weekends? That’s easy: choose the best lawn fertiliser from Scotts Lawn Builder, All Lawn Types Lawn Food.

Now, we know what you’re thinking...

Will fertiliser make the grass grow quicker?

Hear us out on this. Scotts Lawn Builder is a lawn fertiliser but, unlike some products that tend to dump all their nutrients in one go, Scotts is a slow release fertiliser. The nutrients it contains take up to three months to be fully absorbed by the grass, which actually prevents surges in growth. So as the roots of your grass are slowly nourished and encouraged to grow deeper into the soil, the lawn grows thicker rather than too tall, too fast. It’s the best lawn fertiliser for the job.

Does fertiliser feed the weeds too?

Feeding your grass with a slow release fertiliser helps it to thrive like you wouldn’t believe. Thicker, healthier grass actually crowds out the weeds, leaving less room for them to grow. This means that regular use of Scotts Lawn Builder lawn fertiliser on your grass results in fewer weeds making it through. It’s a win-win!

Do I have to reseed the bare patches in my lawn?

Using Scotts Lawn Builder lawn fertiliser encourages a healthier root system, which really works in your favour when it comes to bare patches. Think of it this way: as you feed your grass, it gets fuller and grows outwards, which helps to fill in the bare patches in your lawn without you needing to do anything extra. Even better, it only takes around 10 minutes to apply Scotts Lawn Builder - even less if you use Scotts handy fertiliser spreader - and one feed lasts up to three months, which gives you more ‘me’ time.

Is there anything Scotts Lawn Builder can’t do for my grass?

Yep. Mow it!
