For a croquet-worthy patch of turf, the first step is to find out what your lawn needs. Compacted soil can be fixed by aerating, which allows more oxygen into the root zone, while competing weeds can often be removed by hand. But the most valuable thing you can do to help your lawn to thrive is to feed it with an organic lawn fertiliser, like Yates Dynamic Lifter Lawn Food Shaker – this helps improve the structure of the soil and gives you stronger, thicker grass that will crowd out weeds.
Yates Dynamic Lifter Lawn Food Shaker makes it simple to give your lawn the love it needs. There’s no need to invest in any equipment or sacrifice space to chunky bags of fertiliser, which means it’s ideal for small lawns or patch repairs. The built-in shaker makes it easy to spread the granules evenly. Simply shake the container to spread the fine granules over the lawn surface, water in well and you’re done! For best results reapply every eight weeks – the shaker container is refillable, giving you even better value.

The fine granules filter down through the grass, delivering nutrients where they’re needed, without risking fertiliser burn.
