Protect what matters most with the easy-to-install RapidFence system.

Fencing champion

Keep your family and property safe with the complete range of RapidFence posts, fence panels, gates and hardware, now available in-store at Bunnings or via the Special Orders Desk. Combining the strength of steel with the simplicity of D.I.Y. installation, this affordable solution will cost you less than using alternative materials, yet you won’t have to compromise on quality or safety. The RapidFence system is available in four heights and the square-tube profile can be installed in either flat-top or picket configuration, with optional toppers to give your boundary its own special look. RapidFence has options for house, garden and pool safety perimeters.

Panel of experts

RapidFence steel panels are finished in an understated dark grey tone, making them a stylish architectural feature for classic and contemporary homes alike. The panels are available in 850mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, and 1800mm heights for most home and garden applications. The 1200mm and 1500mm versions comply with strict Australian standards for pool fencing (AS1926.1: Safety Barriers for Swimming Pools; for pool compliant gate hardware and latches, refer to your local council.)

Gate expectations

Add smoothly swinging access with a RapidFence gate panel. It’s manufactured to be impact-resistant and tough enough to handle regular abuse from the harsh Australian climate – and family life!

Note: latch hardware and hinges are sold separately.

Steel the show

Precision-engineered to ensure the RapidFence system fits together seamlessly, brackets are made from steel for durability. They feature an elegant, fuss-free design and come with self-drilling metal screws.

Post haste

Make installation a breeze by using fence posts with welded, pre-drilled flanges that can be secured directly to surfaces such as decking, concrete or stone. For in-ground installation, posts that are designed to be set into concrete are also available.

Some products are not available at all Bunnings stores, but may be ordered. Available to order online or at the Special Orders Desk.

Check for underground services such as electricity, gas, water and telephone before digging by visiting byda.com.au. All pools should conform to your local authority’s safety regulations and guidelines.

Health & Safety

Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.

When following our advice in our D.I.Y. videos, make sure you use all equipment, including PPE, safely by following the manufacturer’s instructions. Check that the equipment is suitable for the task and that PPE fits properly. If you are unsure, hire an expert to do the job or talk to a Bunnings Team Member.
