White Knight Rust Guard Rust Converter is a fast and effective rust treatment designed to neutralise rust and prepare metal surfaces for priming. The advanced formulation chemically reacts with rusted areas, forming a tough blue-black barrier that inhibits further corrosion and promotes strong adhesion for subsequent coatings. Ideal for small projects where rust cannot be completely removed, Rust Guard Rust Converter is suitable for lightly rusted steel, wrought iron and other ferrous metals. It is best applied to fences, gates, railings, garden furniture, and other metal surfaces where rust has begun to form but the substrate remains sound. Each litre provides coverage of up to 10m² depending on surface condition. Quick to apply and easy to clean up with water, Rust Guard Rust Converter completes its chemical reaction in 2–3 hours under normal conditions*. Once dry, simply overcoat with Rust Guard Metal Primer followed by Rust Guard Epoxy Enamel or Quick Dry Advanced Enamel to create a lasting protective finish. * Drying will be slower in cold or humid conditions.
