Terms and Conditions of our Online Special Orders, Click & Collect, Click & Deliver and Marketplace Service (excluding online gift card purchases)

Bunnings Group Limited (Bunnings, we, us, our) is pleased to offer you the opportunity to buy and receive goods and services (Products) from Sellers through the Bunnings website (Website) on the basis of the following terms:

Marketplace Platform and sales

a. In addition to selling Bunnings Products, the Website operates as a marketplace platform (“Marketplace”) that allows independent, third party sellers (Trusted Sellersto list and sell goods on the Website.
b. If a Product on the Website is being sold by a Trusted Seller (“Marketplace Product”), the page of the Website setting out details of that Product (Product Page) will show the relevant Seller’s details, together with any terms of sale specific to the Seller’s Product (such as delivery fees and timetables).You can also distinguish a Trusted Seller from Bunnings by the 'Trusted Seller' logo next to a Product listing on the Website.

Bunnings not responsible for other Sellers' Products or Product information

You acknowledge and agree that:

a. When you purchase a Product that is offered by a Trusted Seller through this Website, you are transacting directly with that Seller. Bunnings is not a party to the transactionAs a result, Bunnings does not control aspects of the transaction including the listing content and accuracy or the quality, shipping and delivery of the Marketplace Products;
b. Bunnings is not a party to transactions that occur between you and Sellers other than Bunnings; nor are we the Seller of the Products supplied in those transactions; and
c. Products sold by Sellers other than Bunnings are not eligible for the application of Bunnings’ Price Guarantee or any PowerPass discount.


In these Terms of Sale, 'Seller' means, in respect of each Product you purchase, the seller of the relevant Product, as disclosed on the Website, including:

a. on the Product Page; or
b. in a summary of your purchase order presented to you prior to confirmation of your purchase (Checkout Summary); or
c. as is otherwise made clear on the Website.


In respect of each Product listed in your Checkout Summary, your order is an offer from you to the relevant Seller to buy that Product from that Seller.The Seller will be bound to supply you the Product once payment has been processed and the Seller has sent you an email order confirmation.

a. Where you purchase Products from more than one Seller, you offer to enter into a separate contract with each Seller under these Terms of Sale in respect of the Products supplied by that Seller.
b. Each Seller is independently responsible for dispatching Products to you under these Terms of Sale.
c. All accepted orders supersede all previous quotes/estimates.

Information about Products

Due to photographic and screen limitations associated with the representation of Products, some actual goods may differ to a small extent in visual appearance (for example in colour) from the way they appear on the Website. 

Pricing and payment

a. You must pay for all online purchases at the time of online checkout prior to order confirmation in accordance with one of the payment methods offered on the Website. Where a Seller cannot fulfil an order, a refund will be provided under clause 10.

b. The prices of Products, and any delivery or other charges, shown are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST.
c. Each Seller is independently responsible for setting the price of their Products and any delivery or other applicable charges.

Delivery (if applicable)

Place your online order by Saturday 18th December to receive your delivery in time for Christmas, excluding Special Order and Marketplace products.

a. Where the Product is being delivered, delivery options are listed on each Product's Product Page.The applicable Seller for each Product is solely responsible for delivering the Product to you.

b.Available delivery options, terms and charges for each Product will be shown on the relevant Product Page. The option selected by you and the applicable estimated delivery times will be shown in your Checkout Summary.Each Seller will use reasonable endeavours to deliver Products within the time frame shown.
c. You will be notified via email once your Products have been dispatched.
d. Sellers are unable to accept liability for delay in delivering goods which is beyond their reasonable control (e.g. if stock is unavailable). If the Product has not been delivered within a reasonable time (depending on the nature of the Product and the delivery address), please contact us if you wish to cancel your order for that Product and request a refund.
e. You must ensure there is clear and safe access for delivery. Please ensure there is a person present at the delivery premises who is authorised by you to accept delivery. If there is not, the Seller will endeavour to deliver the Product if safe and appropriate to do so. If the delivery contractor arrives at the agreed time but is unable to deliver the Product or considers that it is unsafe or inappropriate to do so, you may be required to pay for re-delivery later, or the Seller may cancel your order and provide you with a refund.
f. Some Products may require extra delivery personnel which may incur an additional charge as advised to you before you submit your order. The Seller will deposit your goods at ground level at the delivery premises unless you have arranged otherwise with the Seller. The goods are at your risk after delivery.

Click & Collect (Bunnings only)

Place your online order by 4pm Wednesday 22nd December for collection before Christmas. Collection is not available Christmas Day.

Where Bunnings is the Seller, it may be an option to collect the Products in store. If Products are being collected, please collect them within:

  • 10 days (commercial customers)
  • 30 days (for retail customers purchasing special order or customer-made products)
  • 14 days (retail customers purchasing all other products)

after Bunnings informs you that they are ready for collection. If you do not, then unless you make arrangements with us for late collection, Bunnings will assume you have cancelled your order. This means Bunnings may re-sell the Product, and you may be required to pay a re-stocking fee or, in the case of specially ordered or custom-made product, forfeit any deposit/payment you have made. Bunnings may need to verify your identity upon collection.

Pick-up is not available Christmas Day or Good Friday.

Warranties and liability

a. All Products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement for or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Products may contain warranty documents on or inside the packaging provided by the manufacturer or distributor of the product. Unless clearly expressed otherwise, any such warranty is not given by Bunnings.
c. All other warranties and representations are excluded, except those which are non-excludable in law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, where Products supplied are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic and household use, the Seller's liability to you is limited to refunding the price, replacing or repairing the relevant goods in relation to which the Seller's warranty has failed (at the Seller's option).
d. To assist the Seller in resolving any problems you may experience, please inspect the goods upon taking delivery and report any shortage, discrepancy, defect, wrong specification or similar problem to the Seller as soon as you become aware of it.

Cancellation by Seller

The Seller may cancel any order (in full or part) where: (i) you are in breach of your payment obligations; (ii) the Seller reasonably suspects that you are purchasing goods for the purposes of resale or resupply; (iii) the Seller becomes aware after order confirmation that the good is out of stock; (iv) there has been a genuine pricing or product description error; or (v) where the transaction is suspected of being the subject of credit card or payment-related fraud. The Seller will refund any amount already paid in respect of any cancelled order.  In the case of part cancellation of an order, a refund will be provided on the amount paid that relates to the cancelled portion of the order.

Refunds & Returns

a. The refunds and returns policy applicable to each Product can be found at the 'Refunds & Returns' link for each Seller on their relevant Product Page.Some goods, including custom made goods may not be returnable unless a warranty or guarantee is breached.You can contact each Seller through the contact details for that Seller shown on the Website and on your order confirmation email/document.
For Products where Bunnings is the Seller, our refunds and returns policy can be found on www.bunnings.com.au/policies/returns. Commercial customers may be required to pay for any costs Bunnings incurs as a result of change of mind (for example, handling/transport costs or any re-stocking fee charged by our supplier).
c. If you are unable to contact a Seller, or if the Seller is unable or unwilling to accept a return, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Gift cards and exchange vouchers

a. Bunnings gift cards are subject to additional terms and conditions available at https://www.bunnings.com.au/online-gift-cards.Bunnings gift cards and exchange vouchers may not be used to purchase Products on the Website.
Any exchange vouchers issued by a Seller other than Bunnings are issued at that Seller’s discretion and can only be used for purchases directly from that Seller. Such exchange vouchers cannot be used on this Website or to purchase products from Bunnings.


a. Bunnings collects your personal information to allow us to supply you with goods or services or facilitate purchases from other Sellers. Other Sellers also collect your personal information when you make a purchase from them. Bunnings' Privacy Policy can be found on www.bunnings.com.au/privacy-statement.
By placing an order through this Website, you consent to Bunnings collecting your personal information (including your name, contact details and delivery address) and providing it to third parties (including the relevant Seller, if not Bunnings, and the Seller's suppliers and delivery contractors) for the purpose of fulfilling and delivering your order. Dispute resolution

If you are unable to resolve a complaint or dispute with a Seller in relation to your Products, you may submit your complaint to [email protected] and we will do our best to investigate your complaint.

Third Party Installation

Where you arrange for a third party to install goods purchased through the Website, you must contract separately with that third party. The Seller will not be liable for any installation services provided by a third party.


These Terms of Sale, together with Bunnings policies available on the Website, and a Trusted Seller's delivery policy (see clause 7) and returns and refunds policy (see clause 11) apply to the exclusion of all other terms.  In the event of any inconsistency between those documents, these Terms of Sale will take precedence.
