Purchase your new door lock at Bunnings and a licensed locksmith will contact you within 2 business days to arrange a time that suits you for installation.
The service
The Door Lock Installation service provides installation of a new door lock purchased from Bunnings (excluding Marketplace items). Customers must have the door lock on site before installation begins. The price covers installation of one door lock by a licensed locksmith, including removal of the existing product if required and site clean-up upon completion. The installation package price is not inclusive of all pricing variables and other variations that may occur during installation. If additional charges apply, you will be advised before any installation works proceed.

This installation service can be purchased either online or at your local store. Once payment is confirmed, a service agent will contact you within two business days to schedule an appointment at your convenience.

Can I get a pre-purchased door lock installed?
This installation offer is currently available for any door lock (including smart lock) purchased from Bunnings. Once you have purchased your door lock from our wide range, just pick up an installation card In-Store at the Special Orders desk or in the door hardware aisle and we can help organise your installation.
How much does it cost?
Our door lock installation service costs from $249, which includes standard like-for-like or new installation of one door lock. Any non-standard installations will incur additional costs. Product warranties will vary across individual suppliers.
Does Bunnings offer any other installation services?

All tradespeople are licensed and qualified. All works carried out will be warranted by the tradesperson.
How do I return a product that has been installed?
Exchanges on non-faulty goods are available prior to installation. For faulty goods, please refer to our returns policy.
How long will installation take?
A door lock installation will take approximately one to two hours.
What if my tradesperson requires additional parts?
If additional parts are required the customer will pay the tradesperson directly on the day of installation.
Who will install my door lock?
A qualified and licensed tradesperson.
Will you take away my old door lock?
Yes. This offer includes the removal of an existing product if necessary.

How do I pay for my Door Lock Installation?
You can pay for your door lock installation in-store at your local Bunnings. Simply pick up a door lock installation card and pay for it at the Special Orders desk.
Price guarantee
If the door lock I buy is advertised for a cheaper price, will you match it?
If you find a competitor’s lower price on the same stocked item, we’ll beat it by 10%. Don’t forget, our price guarantee excludes trade quotes, stock liquidations and commercial quantities.
What is your returns policy?
Exchanges are only available prior to installation.

Cash refunds will be provided instantly in-store, while credit card refunds will depend on your financial institution.
