Customers must have the new door lock onsite before installation begins. The price covers installation of one door lock by a qualified tradesperson. Service applies only to compatible products bought at Bunnings. Please read the below information for further detail on inclusions and exclusions: Your Responsibilities • Before arranging for installation, customers must ensure that their chosen door locks have been purchased from Bunnings and are brought home to the property. • It is important to confirm that the installation area is safe, suitable, and easily accessible for the tradesperson. • Please note that only products bought from Bunnings are eligible for this installation service. Standard Inclusions The installation price covers: • Residential properties only • Installation of new replacement door lock (deadbolt locks only) • Removal of existing product • Site clean-up • All works undertaken are subject to the Australian Building and Construction Code Standard Exclusions The standard price does not include the installation of: • Locks on fire rated doors in units within apartment buildings • Commercial properties • Additional works required to complete installation of the new product • Patching or painting of surfaces where the incoming product is a different size to the outgoing product • Cost of door lock Additional Charges • The installation package price is not inclusive of all pricing variables and other variations that may occur during installation. If additional charges apply, you will be advised before any installation works proceed. These are payable directly to the installer. • If the customer has attempted installation themselves, additional charges will incur. These charges will be payable directly to the installer on the day. • Travel beyond 35 km of the booking store will incur a fee of $1.50 per km in both directions.
