Door Installation

Purchase your new door from us and we can arrange for an installer to come to you.

The service

The Door Installation service offers like-for-like replacement of your existing doors, all new doors must be purchased from Bunnings (excl Marketplace items) . Customers must have the new door on site before installation begins. The price covers installation of one door by a qualified tradesperson. The installation package price is not inclusive of all pricing variables and other variations that may occur during installation. If additional charges apply, you will be advised before any installation works proceed.

How it works

This installation service can be purchased either online or at your local store. Once payment is confirmed, a service agent will contact you within two business days to schedule an appointment at your convenience.

Selecting your door

Internal doors installed from $205

Installation of doors constructed for internal use up to 2040mm x 820mm in size. Internal doors are not suitable for external entry and exit points of a building. Includes the installation of standard barrel and cylinder door furniture.

More information

Installation includes hinged single doors only.
This installation service does not include replacement or adjustments to an existing door jamb.
Installers are able to make minor adjustments to the door to ensure it fits in the door cavity. The installer can plane the door up to 3 to 5mm depending on the manufacturer’s specifications.
Travel up to 35km from the store booking your installation is included. If the installer is required to travel further than 35km from the booking store there will be an additional charge per excess KM travelled.
The installer will contact you within 2 business days to organise a time convenient to you for installation of your new door.
No. While the installer will remove pre-existing doors they will not dispose of the doors for you.
The workmanship of the installation has a one year warranty from date of installation.
There is no measure and quote option available for this service. The customer needs to ensure that the door they select is the correct height, width and thickness for their door cavity prior to the installation taking place.
No. The customer is required to have their pre-purchased products on site prior to the commencement of the install. As an additional service the Special Orders desk can assist you with delivery of your purchased products.
Doors are installed in a raw unfinished state.

Bunnings Door Installation service can only be used with compatible products, as shown in-store or online, purchased from Bunnings. Excludes installations in commercial locations. Only one install per installation booking. Multiple bookings required for multiple installations. Excess travel is charged at $1.50 per km when the customers home is further than 35km from the nearest store. Installation must be paid for prior to booking. ‘From’ pricing represents ‘Standard’ installation of an internal door. ‘Non Standard’ installations will incur additional charges.
