Add some sparkle with fairy lights
Solar fairy lights come in a range of fun shapes, with colour changing and flashing functions, so you can create a different look every time you entertain.
Run them across your roof, pergola, fence or try wrapping them around a tree or flowerbed. Make sure you use plastic clips or hooks when attaching your lights, rather than pins, nails or staples.
Make sure the solar panels are in a sunny spot. A fully charged battery can give you up to eight hours of light.

Packing up for next year
Here’s a simple way to pack up fairy lights to keep them tangle-free and easy to put up next year:
Grab a cardboard roll from an old cling wrap or aluminium foil dispenser and cut a 2cm slit into each end.
Lay your lights on the ground, hook one end into the slit and start winding them onto your roll. When you get to the last light, hook it into the slit.
Then wrap the rolled up lights in bubble wrap and store them in a shoebox.
Choose your lights
From inflatables to fairy lights, rope lights and novelty lights, you’ll find a huge range of festive lighting at your local Bunnings and everything you need to hang and store them when it’s time to pack them away.
