eufy security camera on a wall
When it comes to protecting your home, installing smart security cameras is a good way to give you peace of mind. But before you tackle the installation, there’s five important things to consider.

Safety in sight

Keeping a close eye on your home is as easy as reaching for your smartphone. With eufy’s security system, you can monitor and control everything from your cameras to your front-door lock using the eufy app on your phone. You won’t need to pay for cloud subscriptions, either – eufy cameras support local storage onboard or when networked to the HomeBase hub.

Lock it in

Comprising a smart lock, doorbell and camera, eufy’s award-winning 3-in-1 Video Smart Lock combines a 2K camera with advanced video doorbell technology and fast fingerprint detection in one device. The camera offers impeccable glare-free recordings even in the brightest sunlight, and infra-red illumination ensures sharp night-time viewing. Enjoy key-free entry with fingerprint detection and receive notifications when the unit is locked or unlocked, while military-grade encryption keeps your footage and data safe.

Star attraction

Forget grainy night vision – the eufy 4G Starlight Camera is the first 4G security camera to pair Starlight Night Vision with ultra-crisp 2K HD for full-colour viewing at night. This completely self-contained unit doesn’t even need Wi-Fi – just install a 4G nano SIM with a data plan (not included) and stream footage directly to your phone. The camera starts recording when it senses movement and features advanced AI that can reduce unwanted alerts triggered by animals or vehicles when Human Detection Mode is enabled. The 4G Starlight Camera is built for the outdoors and ideal for the security of worksites. Its IP67 weatherproof rating withstands rain, storms, dust and extreme temperatures.

Small wonder

At just 95mm tall, the eufy Indoor Cam Mini 2K Pan & Tilt is approximately the height of a credit card; however, this tiny, discreet device can be set to track any movement it detects. By panning and tilting, it can keep the action in frame – or even identify where a sound is coming from – and pivot to focus on what it ‘hears’. Install a microSD card (sold separately) to store a massive 128GB of footage and connect the Cam Mini 2K to your home’s Wi-Fi to stream video to your phone.

Saved by the bell

Get a full HD view of anyone approaching your home thanks to the eufy Video Doorbell 1080P with Mini-Repeater. Exclusive to Bunnings, this kit includes a 16GB SD card to record video in the chime module. Even if the doorbell unit is tampered with, the evidence remains securely indoors. The ingenious low-power connection between the doorbell and the chime means you get up to 120 days of viewing from a single charge. In addition, by using two-way audio and app connectivity, you can talk to whoever's out front – and ward off unwanted visitors – even when you’re not home.

Vision statement

With a battery life of up to 365 days per charge, the eufyCam Plus is IP67 weatherproof to withstand harsh outdoor conditions; it also features a Sony Starvis sensor for exceptional clarity in low light. The eufyCam Plus kit, exclusive to Bunnings, is available with either two or four cameras and includes eufy HomeBase, as well as a bonus door/window sensor. HomeBase lets you effortlessly connect to Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa or Apple HomeKit, stream video to your phone, and record up to 2000 minutes of footage onboard.

Touch base

Keep a close eye around your home using the eufyCam 2C kit, comprising two or four cameras and eufy HomeBase. You can also purchase optional add-on cameras, as well as sensors to detect motion or doors/windows being opened, and network the whole system via the HomeBase hub. The feature-packed cameras include IP67 weatherproofing, an expansive 135° viewing angle and military-grade encryption for secure streaming and storage. Its human-detection AI means you’ll only be notified when a person approaches; pets or passing cars won’t activate an alert.

Health & Safety

Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.
