/OCP Slasher Organic Weedkiller will control a broad range of annual and perennial weeds in garden beds, vegie patches and pathways. You can even spot-spray it on lawns. It will also control moss, algae and lichen that develops in damp areas around gardens and pathways, as well as on tiles and walls.
Tip: OCP Slasher Organic Weedkiller is non-selective, so be sure to spray weeds only in order to avoid harming your lawn or garden plants.
You can expect to see visible results within one hour on most weeds. In shaded conditions or with some tough weeds, it might take longer for wilting and dieback to be noticeable.
The active ingredient is called nonanoic acid, which occurs naturally in low levels in plants, animals and the soil. OCP uses plant oils to create the acid in concentrated quantities, which then makes it effective for weed control.
No. OCP Slasher Organic Weedkiller is glyphosate-free.
OCP Slasher Organic Weedkiller is approved for use in organic gardens and farms by Australian Certified Organic (ACO). It breaks down quickly in the soil and has no lasting residues. It’s also friendly for bees and other beneficial insects once the spray has dried on the weeds. Pets are also fine to return to sprayed areas once the area is dry.
Safety tip: It’s important to note that OCP Slasher Organic Weedkiller is an acid-based product that can irritate skin and eyes on contact. Always wear the appropriate safety equipment (safety glasses, gloves and a mask, for example) and always follow the instructions for the product or equipment. Always store products out of the reach of children and pets.
Yes. OCP Slasher Organic Weedkiller can be sprayed on weeds in your vegie patch.
