Heat charcoal or beads and when covered in ash use tongs to place the heated beads directly below and on top of your Scandia Dutch oven leaving the Wooshka free for cooking or heating.

Wooshka Wisdom – If heating beads to place around the Dutch oven we recommend you start with 30 beads underneath and 15 on top for the first cook and see how it goes…this is how we like to do it, but everyone has their own method. Remember, it's about the journey, not the destination!
