Suitable for flat roofs*, the VELUX manually operated skylight provides comfort free daylight and ventilation. With outstanding energy efficiency VELUX skylights block approximately 75% of radiant heat. By adding blinds, heat transference can be minimised still further when light is not needed(sold separately).Operation is performed with the ZZZ 212 winder handle for in reach installations or the ZCT 300 extension rod for out of reach installations (ZZZ 212 and ZCT 300 to be purchased separately). *VELUX recommends VCM is installed with a slight pitch (e.g. 3-5) to help prevent condensation build-up and water ponding on the glass. *FLASHING sold separately. For corrugated metal or tile roofing, use EDW flashing. For slate/shingle roofing, use EDL flashing. For combination flashing, use EKW flashing. For custom flashing, please contact VELUX.
