This 12" Electrical Off Road Brake Magnet, which includes a spring, is the perfect option for replacing old magnets in electrical brakes and ensuring smooth operation of a 12" electric backing plate. This magnet can be installed in left-sided backing plates and works by pushing the brake shoes outward to the brake drum, causing friction upon activation. The off-road style magnet has a slit design, unlike the crosshair on the front of other magnets, and does not use a clip. Left hand side is the passenger side of the trailer.
