- Adjustable length
- 12cm steel lightly knurled handles
- Made of 3m wrapped steel cable in grey tint
The Speed Rope - Premium Black Steel is our latest upgraded skipping rope, featuring top of the line German bearing for our smoothest spinning handle ever.
Using a premium steel handle, this speed rope has a robust feel, at 250g. If you prefer more weight in your handle vs a lightweight aluminum handle, this is the rope for you!
The steel handles have a light knurl for super grip, and the smoothest bearing means effortless rotations. Add to that a wrapped steel wire, that is length adjustable and you have one of the best cross-training speed ropes available. The bearing is integrated into the handle, rather than at contact with the rope - meaning smoother motion and less friction on the rope. Less friction and pressure on the rope results in a longer lifespan and a higher-performing speed rope.
The speed rope comes with 3m of wrapped steel speed wire which is adjustable to all heights and age groups. Using our advanced spring lock system, you can adjust the cable in seconds. Simply press the spring lock into the handle and with push or pull the cable, depending on your length requirements.
The cross-training black aluminum speed rope handles are 13cm in length, contain integrated bearings, and have a light knurling pattern on the handle.
Note: Speed cables are designed for use on gym flooring tiles. The usage of concrete, bitumen, and hard ground/dirt will significantly decrease the life of a speed rope.
How to adjust the Cable Length
Simply press the spring lock into the handle and push or pull the cable, depending on your length requirements. If you need to shorten the cable by more than 20cm, pull the cable out entirely, trim to length using a wire cutter, then re-insert the cable back into the spring lock handle.
