- Restores GH minerals lost in RO/DI water for fish health.
- Balanced soft and hard salts prevent osmotic shock.
- 5ml per 40L raises GH by 1 meq/L (2.8 dGH).
- Ideal for community tanks without plants.
- Treats 4000L total for long-term value.
seachem replenish 250ml
seachem replenish 250ml is a proprietary mineral blend designed to replace essential salts removed by reverse osmosis (ro) or deionising (di) filtration, bringing mineral-free water back to a physiologically suitable level for freshwater fish and invertebrates. It restores general hardness (gh) using a balanced mix of sodium and potassium (“soft” salts) plus calcium and magnesium (“hard” salts), supporting proper osmoregulation and helping prevent osmotic stress and potentially fatal osmotic shock when using purified water. Replenish is an ideal choice for community freshwater tanks when preparing ro/di water for water changes, or when your source water is too soft for the species you keep.
key benefits
• restores and maintains gh in mineral-stripped ro/di water.
• replaces physiologically relevant minerals (na, k, ca, mg) for healthier osmoregulation.
• helps prevent osmotic stress and osmotic shock caused by a complete lack of minerals.
directions (label guidance)
add 5 ml (1 capful) per 40 l to raise gh by 1 meq/l (2.8 dgh). Recommended restoration into di/ro water is 1–2 meq/l (dose 5 ml per 20–40 l depending on your target).
important note (planted tanks)
seachem advises replenish for community tanks without live plants because it contains sodium and chloride; for planted aquariums needing gh restoration, they recommend seachem equilibrium instead.
