428878A1 is a heavy-duty rotor cone with stainless steel vanes for the threshing system. Fits Case IH axial-flow combines including 1480, 1482, 1680, 1682, 1688, 2188, 2388, 2577 and 2588. It channels crop material from the feeder house into the rotor chamber and supports stable, efficient threshing. A worn or damaged rotor cone causes rotor instability, poor crop flow and increased wear — replacing it restores throughput, protects the threshing module and reduces downtime. This is an aftermarket replacement part.
