DAR timber is used for a variety of uses including home renovations, joinery, DIY projects as well as for architecturally-inspired designs such as feature walls and screening. Tasmanian Oak is a strong, stable, and easy-to-work hardwood. The wood's staining properties make it easy to match with other timbers, finishes, and furnishings. Tasmanian oak has a variety of colors, ranging from straw to a light reddish brown. Natural variations in grain, colour and texture are considered species characteristics and are not recognised as defects.
