Porta's Scotia is a scalloped rounded-corner profile that fits snugly into an interior corner of two surfaces. It serves to mask or cover irregular gaps of the abutting sheet material and can be used to finish floating floors, wall sheeting or adjoining panels. It can soften the line between the two surfaces. Tasmanian Oak is a strong, stable, and easy-to-work hardwood. The wood's staining properties make it easy to match with other timbers, finishes, and furnishings. Tasmanian oak has a variety of colours, ranging from straw to a light reddish brown. Natural variations in grain, colour and texture are considered species characteristics and are not recognised as defects.
