Perennial Ryegrass in the seed blend acts as a mother crop, helping to protect and support the growth of the Kikuyu, and you’ll see Ryegrass germination within 5-7 days *. The Kikuyu will become the dominant grass over time, however, it is very important to keep mowing the Ryegrass to allow warmth and light into the Kikuyu so it can germinate and establish.
