Maclock Timber Spikes are designed for use in timber where a permanent locking of the timber sections is required. The expanded locking head passes through the timber compressing the fibres and quickly releasing them into the narrow neck of the spike. When fully driven into position the fibre gathered behind the expanded head forms a barrier impeding withdrawal locking the timber sections together.
