  • Designed in Australia to meet and exceed requirements for Braille and tactile signage applications
  • Embossed components use standard imagery and fonts to ensure vision impaired non-braille readers can decipher the sign
  • Braille elements are embossed, not engraved, glued on or made of individual components which can be separated from the sign surface
The Lockwood Female Ambulant Braille and Tactile Sign provides clear tactile and braille identification for toilet and amenity doors. White tactile elements on a blue background give high-contrast colouring, and the ABS plastic sign has a continuous, bleach-resistant surface with rounded corners and a standard braille locator symbol on the left side. The single-piece adhesive backing makes installation quick and clean. Mount it on the wall beside the door on the latch side, at least 50mm from the frame, with the tactile and braille elements 1200mm to 1600mm above the floor. Backed by Lockwood, an Australian brand with over 90 years of locksmithing experience.
