The Lockwood Paradigm 005 Double Cylinder Deadbolt is a premium high-security deadbolt for external entry doors, using key operation from both sides for maximum security. DualSelect gives three operating modes; turn the key once for Safety Mode (locked outside, free inside) or further for Secure Mode (locked both sides), with Passage Mode for everyday use. SafetyRelease automatically unlocks the inside knob on key entry from outside, reducing the risk of being locked in. LockAlert shows the lock status at a glance from inside. The cut-resistant stainless steel bolt with counterbalance design distributes load between door and frame for added attack resistance. The square rose fits standard 54mm holes for easy retrofit, with a 60-70mm adjustable backset suiting most doors. Kinetic Defence bump and pick resistance is built into the 5-pin brass cylinder with 78,000 key combinations. Tested to AS4145.2-2008 (SL8 security, D8 durability). Backed by Lockwood's 25-year mechanical warranty.
