The Laser Multi-Region DVD Player gives you a simple way to enjoy compatible movies, television series, music and family media from your existing collection. Multi-region playback supports compatible DVDs from different regions, making it useful for international films, imported television programs and hard-to-find titles. Connect the player to a compatible television, projector or home entertainment system using HDMI or composite AV. HDMI supports video output up to 1080p, while composite AV provides a practical option for compatible older televisions and equipment. An HDMI cable is not included and is sold separately. The front USB port lets you play supported videos, music and photos from a FAT32 USB storage device with a capacity of up to 64GB. Supported USB media includes AVI, VOB and RMVB video files, MP3, WAV and WMA audio files, and JPG photos. Playback results can vary depending on file size, resolution, frame rate, codec and compression method. The player also supports compatible DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, Picture CD, VCD and SVCD formats. Use the remote control for play, pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, track selection, subtitle control and menu navigation. Its compact footprint fits neatly into bedrooms, living rooms, media units and shared entertainment spaces. HDMI audio output supports stereo sound only. References to 5.1 channel output relate to mixed analogue audio output and do not represent true discrete Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1 analogue surround sound.
