Bring smartphone navigation, calls and music into a vehicle without replacing its factory stereo. The Laser 7 Inch Portable CarPlay and Android Auto Touchscreen provides a separate display that connects wirelessly to a compatible iPhone or Android smartphone. Its IPS screen offers wide viewing angles, helping you see supported apps when the unit cannot sit directly in front of you.
Position the touchscreen using the windscreen suction mount and extendable arm. Choose a place that keeps your view of the road clear. The screen uses USB-C power from an available 12V vehicle power socket through the supplied car power cable. Pair your phone with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi; after the first connection, the screen remembers it and reconnects when you return to the vehicle.
Use compatible navigation apps such as Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze for directions and live traffic information. Siri or Google Assistant can help with supported calls, messages, music and directions using voice commands, so you can keep your hands on the wheel and attention on the road. Navigation and streaming may require mobile data.
Audio can play through the touchscreen's built-in speaker. To hear it through your car radio, select an available FM frequency on the touchscreen and tune the radio to match. You can also access compatible music, podcasts and audiobooks from your connected smartphone.
When safely parked and where permitted by law, compatible content can be mirrored from your phone using Apple AirPlay or Android casting through the Autolink Pro app. Casting and other functions depend on your phone, software and supported apps. The screen needs a suitable windscreen mounting position, a 12V vehicle power socket and a compatible smartphone.
