These are natural characteristics of wool and can be expected, with shedding generally reducing over time. Rotate your rug regularly, avoid prolonged direct sunlight, and use a vacuum without a powered or rotating brush head to help prevent excessive shedding or damage to the rug. IMPORTANT TIP: We recommend that an anti-slip pad such as Supa Grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.
