These coloured sticks are used for repairing cracks and small holes in most wood surfaces. Can be buffed to a fine finish and coated with most materials.

The sticks can be melted a number of ways depending on the application. Generally speaking, they can be easily melted with a candle/lighter and dripped into the gap needing filling. Alternatively, you can soften one in a microwave (test in increments of a few seconds - it just needs to be malleable), then the softened stick can be pushed into the gap. Another method is to chip off the quantity required and melt it into the gap using a heat gun or hairdryer. This needs to be done carefully as the additional heat may affect the surrounding finish. In all cases scrape back any excess using a plastic spatula or credit card once the wax has firmed up again.
