  • Highly effective trap quickly detects and traps pantry moths
  • Safe near food
  • Long lasting BioLure® provides consistent monitoring for 4 months
  • Large trap with ample surface area for catching moths
The highly effective EnviroSafe Professional Pantry Moth Trap attracts all common pantry moth species. It uses a unique BioLure with patented controlled-release technology for maximum effectiveness over a 4-month period. Completely and pesticide free, this trap is safe for use in all dry food storage areas. To set the trap, peel away the protective paper on the glue board. Remove the clear film from the BioLure and stick it to the glue board with the black circle facing up. Fold the trap and push the tab through the slot to form a tent shape. Place the trap in your pantry close to your dry food products. The Professional Pantry Moth Trap includes a panel that helps you monitor moth numbers over time and in different areas by providing a space to record weekly observations and a space to label the trap with an identity number where multiple traps are set in different locations. This is ideal for larger pantries or commercial kitchens where a number of different areas may need to be monitored. If you find moths on the trap, thoroughly inspect your dried food packs for any signs of damage to the packaging and/or signs of moth larvae in the food, such as webbing or frass (larval faeces). Note that moth larvae can infest unopened food packs by entering through pinholes or screw lids when just hatched. Dispose of any contaminated foods and wipe down pantry surfaces to remove any eggs. Vacuum crevices where pupae may be sheltering. Re-set the trap and continue monitoring. Pantry moths can be brought into your home at any time in dried goods purchased at supermarkets. Left undetected, pantry moth infestations can spread to other dried food in the pantry, including dried fruit, flour, rice, cereals, biscuits, and dry dog food. Monitoring can help you detect and then take action to eradicate infestations while they are small.
