Inspired by the ancient Bungle Bungles in Purnululu, Western Australia, easycraft Contours in Groove add natural warmth, movement and tactility to any room. With its consistent tongue and groove joint, Groove can be used in conjunction with any other Contours profile to create a unique design. Groove can also be used in curved applications down to a radius of 1000mm, as well as in residential and commercial interiors. Radiata Pine is a soft and low density timber, with wide annual growth rings. Clear Pine is typically a cream to light-straw in colour. It is a knot-free product which is easier to work compared to knotty pine. Very easy to work with standard tools. Its low density means it is easy to nail and holds screws very well. It can be successfully stained, painted, waxed or colour-washed. It glues with commonly available adhesives and stains well, and its open grain accepts preservative treatments. Clear Pine is not a suitable timber for bending. We recommend using oil-based stain finishes as water-based stains may produce a blotchy appearance. Easycraft Contours Timber Lining Boards are available in a range of textured designs to create calming atmospheres or vibrant patterns, and are suitable for straight and curved interior panelling.
