Duratac Directional Fastiles are integrated Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI) which are required by Australian standards to assist blind or visually impaired persons navigate public spaces. TGSIs are placed to provide warning of an approaching hazard such as stairs, ramps, pedestrian crossings & overhead hazards etc. Directional TGSIs indicate direction of travel through a space. TGSIs can be felt underfoot or with a cane. As the majority of vision impaired persons have some vision, TGSIs must have a luminance contrast to the surface they are applied to. LRV rating has been provided.
Duratac Directional Tactiles can be paired with Duratac Hazard Fastiles which provides a cue of a change of direction.
Duratac Fastiles comes with a Peel n Stick backing which can be easily installed to surfaces such as Concrete, Ceramics, Natural Stone, Vinyl, Timber, Rubber.
