Transform the look and feel of your home with a cosy wood heater. Designed and built in Australia, Masport’s Bowden range is efficient and elegant.
If the look of a crackling fire warms your soul, the Masport Bowden Portrait with its huge full-glass viewing window is for you. This Australian Made® and award-winning design can warm a space of up to 170sqm through convection heating.
The Bowden Ministacker keeps firewood where you need it, with fuel storage directly under the firebox. With an average output of 11kW, its radiant heat will spread through up to 160sqm; in addition, it burns 60 percent more cleanly than Australian standards require.
Snuggle up in front of the Bowden Legs wood heater for a special evening with loved ones. Its full glass door and minimalist design makes the fire the star of the show, and its three-speed manual fan warms an area of up to 200sqm.
Stoke your fire and sweep up the hearth using the Bowden hook tool set. This modern Australian Made® collection includes a pick-style poker, timber-head broom and tapered shovel.
The beautifully designed Bowden stack storage and tool set is the perfect companion for your new wood heater. It has integrated storage for small items like firelighters and matches, along with a tool set that fits cleverly on the side.
Sort your firewood into kindling, medium pieces and heavier logs, while also keeping firelighters and matches on hand, thanks to the functional Bowden sawtooth wood storage.
Browse our range of Masport wood heaters and accessories to find what suits your space.
Some products are not available at all Bunnings stores, but may be ordered.
Safety tip: Wood heaters should be installed by a licensed professional to manufacturer’s specifications and comply with local council regulations. Only burn dry, well-seasoned and chemically untreated wood (not painted, stained or treated with preservatives) and do not burn garbage or plastic. Supervise children and pets around fires at all times.
Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.
When following our advice in our D.I.Y. videos, make sure you use all equipment, including PPE, safely by following the manufacturer’s instructions. Check that the equipment is suitable for the task and that PPE fits properly. If you are unsure, hire an expert to do the job or talk to a Bunnings Team Member.
