On a cold winter’s night, few things are as inviting as the comforting crackle of an authentic woodburning fireplace. The only question is: which Scandia fireplace will you choose? These two new ranges seamlessly blend contemporary style and features with unbeatable value, so the choice is up to you.
Marrying European flair and cutting-edge technology, the Scandia Fraam range creates a striking centrepiece in a modern, contemporary home. It has a sleek and angular design in either a horizontal or vertical format, with a range of pedestal and base options available so you can tailor the look to suit your home.
Fraam is as efficient as it is stylish: the Fraam Horizon can heat up to 300sqm, while the upright Fraam Sheer can heat up to 210sqm and emits only 0.5g/kg which is two thirds less than the Australian standard emissions. The Fraam’s 12-14 hour burn time* means you’ll never have to face another cold morning, and its three-speed wireless fan can be controlled with the touch of a button, making this the perfect choice of comfort and style this winter.
With its classic, streamlined appearance, the Australis range is a versatile choice that looks right at home in any Australian property. All the design details have been considered, like subtly rounded corners, timeless stainless steel fittings and, of course, a generous glass-front door.
The Australis is designed and made in Melbourne and it has plenty of innovative features to match its looks, like a remote control fan that can be used from anywhere in the room, exceptional thermal efficiency and low flue emissions. The best part: a convenient pull-out dustless ash collection drawer and dual-access dust chutes make cleaning up a breeze.
Choose between the 490mm-wide Australis M and the larger 540mm width of the Australis L. Both are compliant under the minimum 7-star national building standard when installed with a Scandia room sealed flue kit.
Complete your fireplace set-up with Scandia’s accessories and maintenance products. From stylish wood storage additions to essential cleaning supplies, they’ve got you covered.
Safety Tip: Wood heaters should be installed by a licensed professional to manufacturer’s specifications and comply with local council regulations. Only burn dry, well seasoned and chemically untreated wood (not painted, stained or treated with preservative) and do not burn garbage or plastic. Supervise children and pets around fires at all times.
*Based on user following instructions in manual, under ‘operating your wood heater’.
