Cool comfort

Summer is at its height and the temperatures are brutal. Worse, with the air conditioner running overtime, your energy bills are rising as high as the mercury. Installing or upgrading your home’s insulation is a great way to beat the heat and reduce your energy usage, taking the pain out of your electricity bill and benefiting the environment. And with Earthwool® insulation, you’ve got a premium insulation product you can install yourself!

D.I.Y. a cooler home

Summer is a prime time for D.I.Y. projects, with plenty of opportunities for home improvement. Why not choose a project that will make your home more comfortable through the sweatiest months – and beyond, into the chill of winter? Earthwool R2.5 Wall batts and Earthwool R4.0 Ceiling batts are effortless to work with, boasting an ultra-soft finish and a smooth surface on both sides, making them easier to cut, simpler to handle and less dusty. Earthwool Multi-Use Roll does double duty, designed as a top-up for existing ceiling insulation, or a high thermal performance solution for walls. Easy to roll out, it’s the ideal upgrade to ensure your home’s comfort, year round.

What is Earthwool made of?

Part of what makes Earthwool so D.I.Y. friendly is its composition. Earthwool is made with up to 80 per cent recycled glass. So next time you toss an empty bottle into a recycling bin, Earthwool can help it to come back as insulation.

It has no added formaldehyde or dyes (thanks to ECOSE® Technology, Earthwool’s bio-based binder) and Earthwool’s range of insulation is free from any of the Declare® Red List materials as well as certified to the highest Eurofins Gold Standard for indoor air comfort.

More insulation benefits

The benefits of insulation for controlling your home’s climate are clear – and if you’re going to do it, then it pays to do it right, with a premium-quality product. Earthwool products are non-combustible and offer high thermal performance, acting as a buffer between your home and the extreme heat (or cold) of the outdoors. But not only that, they also offer impressive acoustic benefits, absorbing sound between rooms, and between you and the neighbours. It all adds up to a safer, quieter, cooler and cheaper-to-run home for you and your family.
