Overview

A wireless doorbell can be a great way to welcome visitors to your home. Some models even have a range of chimes for you to choose. We'll take you through the simple steps to install a wireless doorbell at your front door.

Tools and materials

Steps

1Clean your doorbell mount

Give your doorbell mount a quick clean with a rag. This will help the adhesive tape to stick to it.

2Attach your doorbell button

Cut some double sided tape to the length of the doorbell and stick it to the back of the unit. Then carefully place the unit onto the doorbell mount.

3Find a location for the receiver

There is a screw hole in the back of the receiver so you can mount it inside your house somewhere convenient. Put it near the front door or in the kitchen so you'll hear it whenever it rings. Check the batteries and make sure the bell rings before you mount the receiver.
