A woman in the kitchen cleaning out a dishwasher with traditional CLR
Roll up your sleeves and arm yourself with our strategies to target those pesky stains around the house.

CLR is the only cleaning product you’ll ever need, suitable for every area of your home. Even better, it can now be used in more ways than ever before with the introduction of a new and convenient spray-on formula for removing calcium, limescale and rust. Plus the range includes two specialist cleaning products: CLR Bathroom & Kitchen Action Cleaner and CLR Grease & Oil Remover.

Use CLR to clean your whole home

After a summer of friends and family filling your home, the calm and quiet of the cooler season is on its way. And it’s the perfect time to give your home – and everything in it – a deep clean.

CLR is the calcium, limescale and rust-removing cleaning product you may already love, but it’s useful for so much more than you may have thought. The traditional concentrated formulation of CLR Calcium, Limescale & Rust Remover, available in 1L, 4L and 20L packs, can be diluted and used around the house to clean the dishwasher, washing machine, sinks, taps, showerhead, glass screens and more. It’s also a great option for exterior cleaning, from the driveway and paths to surfaces (and even most of the tools) in your garage or workshop.

The new ready-to-use CLR spray

For an even more convenient cleaning solution, CLR is now also available as Ready to Use Calcium, Limescale & Rust Remover spray, which doesn’t need to be diluted. Just spray the solution onto whatever surface you need to clean, wait for two minutes, then scrub lightly and rinse with clean, cold water. It makes almost any surface look as good as new and gets them hygienically clean, as CLR kills up to 99.9 per cent of germs.

CLR also has two other extremely convenient products in the cleaning range: Bathroom & Kitchen Action Cleaner and Grease & Oil Remover. While traditional CLR can certainly be used in the kitchen and the bathroom, the dedicated bathroom formulation is perfect for removing dirt and soap scum commonly found on surfaces like basins, tapware, baths and shower screens.

Power through tough grease

The updated Grease & Oil Remover is not only readily biodegradable but also has 1.5 times the grease-cutting power of the old formula, so it is an even more effective choice for cutting through tougher grime – such as that found on a barbie that’s been put to good use over the summer, as well as paths or driveways that have seen a lot of traffic, and garage or workshop floors that may have experienced the odd oil spill.

The kinder cleaning product

Unlike a lot of industrial-strength cleaners, traditional CLR is phosphate free, making it kinder to our waterways. The active ingredient in traditional CLR and the ready-to-use spray is derived from plants and, as these products are EPA-certified and biodegradable – as is the Bathroom & Kitchen Cleaner – these products are gentler on people and the environment, while being tough on all kinds of dirt. CLR is also non-abrasive, so it can power through dirt even on delicate surfaces, getting every area of your home sparkling clean.
