/Everyday life can take a toll on your home, but high-use zones like carpets and lounges cop more of a beating than most, especially if you have kids and/or pets. Deep-cleaning removes allergens, bacteria, pet dander and unseen soil under the surface of your carpet. With the Britex D.I.Y. range, it’s easy to achieve a professional result that will make your home cleaner and healthier – and leave you with a sense of pride.
The Britex deep-cleaning machine combines a high-powered extraction system with family-friendly cleaning solutions, hot water and a range of interchangeable wands. Use it to clean, deodorise and refresh everything from carpets and upholstery to car, boat and caravan interiors. This easily manoeuvred and portable deep-cleaning machine uses hot-water extraction, penetrating deep into the fibres to flush out and safely remove a host of nasties that normal vacuuming can’t reach. When used with the specially-formulated Britex Carpet Cleaner or Britex Low Foam Upholstery Cleaner, it revitalises dirty or dingy-looking carpet and upholstery in a flash.
Occasionally, a single tricky stain or odour might call for special treatment, but Britex has that covered, too, with a handy range of advanced enzyme formula sprays. Has your dog done a wee on the white rug? No problem - treat it with ‘no touch’ Britex Urine Remover. Bad smell on the couch? Reach for Britex Odour Blaster, which neutralises bacteria that cause foul odours. Melted chocolate on the car seats? Britex Spot ’n’ Stain remover, which is designed to eliminate many stubborn stains, will do the job.
Some products are not available at all stores, but may be ordered. Not all services are available in all stores.

Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.
