Dulux’s Concrete & Paving system makes rejuvenating hardworking surfaces an easy D.I.Y. project.

Street appeal

Give new life and colour to concrete areas, including the driveway, garage floor and front path. This D.I.Y. project is easier than you might think, and it can rejuvenate the exterior presentation of your home.

Colour coordinate

Dulux’s heavy-duty Concrete & Paving coatings boast water-based technology and a long-lasting finish. They can be tinted to a host of on-trend Dulux hues, so you can pair your concrete with your exterior colour scheme. If decorative texture’s your thing, try the Crushed Pebble Effect finish.

Step it up

The range comes in an easy-to-use three-stage system: clean, prime and finish. It means you’re never lost as to which product you need to use and when you need to use it. Follow the steps for a durable finish that can withstand heavy traffic and provides a minimum P4-rated slip resistance with two coats. (This is great for stairs and gently sloping driveways*.)

Keep in mind...

  • Safety tip: Always wear the appropriate safety equipment (safety glasses, gloves, and a mask, for example) and always follow the instructions for the product or equipment. Always store products out of the reach of children and pets.
  • *Due to slip risk, do not use on gradients greater than 1:8 or angles steeper than 7°. Download a suitable angle app on your phone to discern your driveway or floor slope.

Health & Safety

Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.

When following our advice in our D.I.Y. videos, make sure you use all equipment, including PPE, safely by following the manufacturer’s instructions. Check that the equipment is suitable for the task and that PPE fits properly. If you are unsure, hire an expert to do the job or talk to a Bunnings Team Member.
