The Austral Compact39 Fold Down is designed to maximise line space in long, narrow areas. With a frame size of 3.39m in length and 0.935m in depth, it provides 39.3m of drying space across 12 lines.
When closed, the Compact range folds down to approximately hip height, making it especially convenient for older users. The clothesline can be easily raised and lowered without the need to bend. If the front bar is too long for your available space, it can be shortened during installation.
The Compact39 is supplied with wall plugs and screws for fixing to timber or masonry walls. For alternative surfaces like Hebel or blue board, please consult for proper installation advice.
The clothesline can also be converted into a free-standing model with an optional Ground Mount Kit for in ground (into soil) installation, or a Plated Ground Mount Kit for bolting down onto hard surfaces.
