I am a tidy form of Dianella that does not produce woody canes requiring no maintenance to look my best
I produce blue/yellow flowers from September to November, purple ornamental berries follow
I am ideal in borders, mass planted and a good choice for pots and other containers
Happy in almost all soils I tolerate moist clay loams and am happiest in neutral to acid pH soils
I am an Australian Native strappy plant specially selected for my tidy form with maintained with little to no maintenance. My spent flower spikes naturally fall from the plant and not die off in place as on most Dianellas.
My sprays of delicate small blue flowers in spring and summer are followed by edible bright blue berries.
Hardy I tolerate humidity and cold.
I am suitable for most soils but avoid planting me in very poor soils.
I am perfect for low maintenance mass plantings where my strappy foliage can move gracefully in the breeze making quite a statement.
Also suited to environmental plantings and I am excellent at controlling erosion in sloped locations.
