The Victron Temperature Sensor is an accessory for BMV-712 Smart, BMV-702, and SmartShunt battery monitors. It measures main battery temperature to enable temperature-compensated charging, preventing overcharging or undercharging. The sensor attaches via an M10 ring terminal to the positive battery post and connects with pre-crimped wires. It supports VE.Smart Networking for wireless data sharing and enables temperature alarms.
