Carriers & Dispatch
We use trusted national freight partners to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. All orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation (unless otherwise stated).

Delivery Regions & Timeframes

Metro Areas: 3–7 business days

Regional Areas: 5–10 business days

Remote Areas & Bulky Items (e.g., canopies, roller shutters): 7–14 business days depending on freight scheduling

We deliver Australia-wide. Some remote or offshore locations may require a delivery quote prior to dispatch.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary based on the size, weight, and delivery location of your order. Any applicable delivery fee will be displayed at checkout. From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions on selected items.

Authority to Leave (ATL)
If no one is available at the delivery address, our carrier may leave your order in a safe location only if you have given permission. If no ATL is provided and delivery cannot be completed, the carrier may return the goods and a re-delivery fee may apply.

Delivery Access & Requirements
Please ensure safe and clear access to your property for delivery. For large or bulky items, deliveries are made to ground level only. If delivery is not possible due to unsafe or restricted access, a re-delivery fee may be charged.

Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number (where available). Some bulky freight services may not offer live tracking; in these cases, our team will confirm dispatch and provide delivery updates as required.

Delays & Delivery Issues
While we always strive for timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances such as weather events, carrier delays, or peak season demand may affect delivery times. If your order is delayed beyond a reasonable timeframe, please contact us — we’ll do our best to resolve the issue or offer a suitable alternative.

Risk & Title
Ownership and risk pass to you upon delivery. Please check your items upon arrival and notify us within 7 days if any damage or missing parts are identified so we can assist promptly.

Re-delivery or Non-Delivery
If no one is available and ATL has not been granted, or if the address provided is incomplete, a re-delivery or collection fee may apply.

Warranty, Returns & Claims Policy
Bunnings Marketplace Orders

For products purchased through Bunnings Marketplace, all return requests must be initiated via the “Contact Seller” link located in your Bunnings order confirmation email.

1. Scope of Warranty

This warranty applies to all new Tradesman 4x4 products purchased directly from Tradesman 4WD & Accessories Pty Ltd.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and conditions.

This warranty:

Applies only to the original purchaser

Is non-transferable

Applies only within Australia

This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Warranty Period

The applicable warranty period is as stated on the original invoice.

If a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the warranty continues from the original purchase date, not the replacement date.

3. What Is Covered

The warranty covers verified manufacturing defects including:

Faulty or broken components

Structural failures caused by manufacturing error

Electrical or mechanical faults not caused by installation or misuse

4. What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)

The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear (fading, scratches, dents, cosmetic damage)

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, overloading, or negligence

Incorrect installation or improper wiring

Installation performed contrary to supplied instructions

Unauthorised modifications or third-party repairs

Lack of maintenance or improper care

Freight or handling damage reported after installation

Damage caused by exceeding product load ratings

Change of mind after installation

Custom or clearance products are covered only where a genuine manufacturing defect exists.

5. Mandatory Pre-Installation Inspection

Customers must complete the following before installation:

Inspect all cartons immediately upon delivery

Record a full unboxing video

Check all components for freight damage or missing items

Failure to inspect products prior to installation may result in rejection of freight damage or return claims.

6. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim:

Step 1 — Notify Us

Contact Tradesman 4x4 as soon as a defect is identified and provide:

Invoice or order number

Description of issue

Photos and/or video evidence

Unboxing footage where applicable

Step 2 — Assessment

Tradesman 4x4 may request:

Additional information, or

Return of the product for inspection

Step 3 — Resolution

If approved, Tradesman 4x4 will determine an appropriate remedy.

7. Resolution Options

Where a warranty claim is approved, Tradesman 4x4 may, at its discretion:

Repair the product

Replace with an equivalent new or refurbished product

Supply replacement parts

Provide a full or partial refund where appropriate

Approved warranty return shipping costs will be covered by Tradesman 4x4.

8. Processing Time

Warranty claims are typically processed within 14 business days after receipt of required documentation and/or returned goods.

9. Returns Policy
9.1 Return Request Period

Returns must be requested within 30 days from purchase date.

9.2 Eligible Return Conditions

Returns will only be accepted where ALL conditions are met:

Product is unused and uninstalled

Item remains in original condition

Original packaging and accessories included

No installation, wiring, drilling, sealing, or vehicle mounting attempted

No customer-caused damage after delivery

9.3 Non-Returnable Situations

Returns will not be accepted where:

Product has been installed or used

Installation was incorrect

Product was modified or altered

Vehicle compatibility was not confirmed prior to purchase

Customer changes mind after installation

9.4 Freight Damage or Manufacturing Defect

If damage existed prior to installation, customers must notify Tradesman 4x4 within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

Unboxing video

Photos of packaging and damage

Invoice reference

Approved claims will be handled under this Warranty Policy.

9.5 Change-of-Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns may be approved at Tradesman 4x4 discretion where:

Product remains unused and unopened

Request is made within 30 days

Approved returns may incur:

Restocking fee

Deduction of original freight cost

Return freight payable by customer

10. Installation Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

Confirming vehicle compatibility before purchase

Ensuring correct installation procedures are followed

Using professional installation where recommended

Tradesman 4x4 is not liable for damage caused by incorrect installation performed by customers or third parties.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies rights granted under the Australian Consumer Law.

Under ACL, customers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where goods:

Have a major failure, or

Are not of acceptable quality, or

Are not fit for purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

Tradesman 4x4’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product.

Tradesman 4x4 is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses including loss of use, downtime, or incidental expenses, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
