How to Replace Your Mitsubishi Key Case
Swapping out the key case for your Mitsubishi remote is a breeze and can be done by almost anyone. All you need is a small Phillips head screwdriver and about a minute of your time.
1. Find and remove the small screw on the back of the remote case.
2. Take out the internal components, including the key transponder cover, circuit board, and key blade.
3. Place the circuit board, transponder, and transponder cover into the new key case.
4. If your existing key blade is in good shape, simply transfer it to the new case. If the blade is worn out, you’ll need to have a new one cut by a locksmith or similar service.
5. Snap the new case together and secure it with the screw. Finally, check that everything is working properly.
