Thanks to its patented aither multi-cell foam compound, it is both lightweight and durable, shielding against sharp objects, sidewall cuts, rim damage, and pinch flats. the tannus armour sits snuggly between your tire and inner tube, offering 15mm of top puncture protection, as well as 2mm of sidewall protection against sharp objects and rocks. Upon impact, it effectively cushions the inner tube, preventing contact with the rim and eliminating pinch flats. Additionally, the armour provides added safeguarding for your rims during particularly tough impacts. tannus armour offers sidewall support to prevent tire buckling in fast corners, allowing for lower tire pressure compared to standard tubeless set-ups. Recommended pressures are 25-30 psi for city/commuter/gravel/touring and 15-20 psi for mtb.
