A viorous, high yielding variety producing round to oval, black, shiny fruit. Harvest when young for flavour and firmness. Eggplant, or aubergine as it’s sometimes called, can be used in a wide variety of dishes. It’s a great source of dietary fibre. They contain vitamin B1 and B6. It also contains a good amount of potassium, copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, niacin, and folic acid.
