We can help you organise a licensed electrician to replace your gas and electric cooktops, rangehoods and electric ovens from $134.

The service

You can have your appliances replaced by a fully licensed electrician.

The appliances installation service is a like-for-like replacement only and does not include an initial install. New appliances must be installed in the same location as previous products.

Installation available

Like-for-like replacement appliance installation is available for:

  • Gas & electric cooktops
  • Rangehoods (excluding ceiling mounted rangehoods)
  • Electric ovens
  • This offer does not provide initial install for new appliances. An appliance must be or have been installed in the position where the new unit is to be installed.

It’s a like‑for‑like replacement service for selected kitchen appliances (no first‑time installs). Your new appliance must go in the same location as the previous product.

Installation is available for:

  • Gas & electric cooktops
  • Rangehoods (excludes ceiling‑mounted rangehoods)
  • Electric ovens
A fully licensed electrician will carry out the installation and will contact you within 2 business days after booking to arrange a suitable time.
Installations are from $134 for standard, like‑for‑like replacement. Non‑standard conditions may attract additional charges (assessed by the installer).
  • Disconnecting the existing appliance
  • Installing the new appliance in the same position using the same type of connection (e.g., electric for electric; gas cooktop swapped for gas cooktop)
  • Function and safety checks on completion.
  • Initial installs (where there wasn’t an appliance there before)
  • Relocation of services (new power, new gas points, venting paths, or cabinetry changes)
  • Ceiling‑mounted rangehoods
  • If additional work is needed (e.g., cut‑outs, new circuits, ducting reroutes), your installer can advise on options and costs.
  • Select your appliance(s) from our range.
  • Arrange payment & installation at the Special Orders desk and take your product(s) home.
  • A licensed electrician will contact you within 2 business days to schedule.

Yes—installation is offered as an add‑on for products purchased from our range. Book in‑store at the Special Orders desk.

After purchase and booking, the installer will coordinate a time that works for both parties. Lead times can vary by location and demand.
Appliance removal isn’t listed as standard for this service. If you need removal/disposal, please ask in‑store—availability and fees vary.
Pay for the installation in‑store at the Special Orders desk at the same time as your product purchase.

If your product has not been installed, you can request a refund at your local Bunnings store.
You will receive your refund in the same method as payment was made.
Cash refunds will be provided instantly in-store, while credit card refunds will depend on your financial institution.
