The service

Our EV Charger Installation Service is the perfect way to have your EV Charger purchased from Bunnings Installed by a qualified installer, indicatively priced at $699*.

What's included:

  • Up to 10m of 6mm 4c+e cable, run in conduit from the meter box to the installation location
  • Installation at a location within the same building as the switchboard
  • Wi‑Fi connection of the charger to your home network
  • Installation work completed using ladder access
  • Certificate of Compliance completed and submitted (where required)
  • Travel within 35km of the closest Bunnings store offering the service

1Choose your EV Charger and head to the Special Orders desk in-store

2Your new EV charger installation includes cabling in conduit, installation within the same building as your switchboard, Wi‑Fi connection, and travel within 35km of the nearest participating Bunnings store.

3Arrange payment and Installation at the Special Orders desk and take the product home with you

4The qualified installer we arrange to install your EV charger will contact you within 2 business days to arrange a time that suits you

*Indicative price is for base installation as described in the ‘more information’ section at bunnings.com.au/services/in-home/ev-charger-installation and does not include the cost of the EV charger. Additional costs apply where more cable or thicker cable is required, or where one of the exclusions set out in ‘more information’ applies and the installer agrees to carry out those additional works. Terms and conditions apply and are available at bunnings.com.au/services/in-home/ev-charger-installation. Additional works will be subject to agreement between customer and the installer (on installer’s terms) and outside the agreement with Bunnings for base installation. Bunnings engages qualified and licensed electricians to install EV chargers. Bunnings requires a builder’s licence to offer some services: QLD – 1191280. SA – BLD 248065. ACT – 2025802. In NSW, customers engage installers via Bunnings Services Marketplace.
