Can I get a pre-purchased ceiling fan installed?
This fixed price installation service is currently only available for single rotating ceiling fans with a blade width of 1.4 metres (56 inches) or less purchased from Bunnings. Once you have purchased your ceiling fan from our wide range, just pick up an installation card for either a “new” or “replacement” installation in-store at the Special Orders desk or in the electrical aisle and we can help you organise your installation.
How much does it cost?
Our replacement ceiling fan installation service costs $165, which includes standard like-for-like replacement of one ceiling fan, any non-standard installations will incur additional costs. Our new ceiling fan installation service costs $300, which includes standard installation where there is no prior ceiling fan in position. Non-standard installations will incur additional costs.
If you need a new ceiling fan installation, we can help organise a tradesperson to provide you with a quote. Product warranties will vary across individual suppliers.

To pay for a like-for-like ceiling fan replacement, simply pick up a ceiling fan included in the offer and an installation card in-store and payment can be made at the register or the Special Orders desk.
Payment for a new installation is to be paid directly to your chosen tradesperson.

What are the terms and conditions?
Bunnings installation services are provided by hipages in partnership with Bunnings. Please ensure you have read and understood the terms and conditions.
The service is available to residential customers only.
Price is based on one ceiling fan installation per voucher.
Standard Installation is included in the price, any charges related to non-standard installation are to be paid to the tradesperson directly. Ceiling patching or painting is not included in the standard installation.
Fixed price replacement ceiling fan installations are conducted on a like-for-like basis. This means that the incoming product can be installed in the same position and with the same connections/configurations as the outgoing product
The replacement ceiling fan installation fixed price offer does not provide an initial install for a new ceiling fan, an existing ceiling fan must be present and in place of where the new unit is to be installed.
If you require a new ceiling fan installation please ensure you purchase the new ceiling fan installation voucher.
Replacement ceiling fans cannot be installed where a light fitting is currently.
Ceiling height cannot exceed 2.85 metres, structural timber must be used in plasterboard ceilings and must be free from asbestos.
Ceiling fans with a wall plug must be connected to an existing powerpoint, rewiring is not included in the fixed-price offer.
After market conversions of wall-switch ceiling fan units to a remote-controlled unit would require additional wiring and as such are only included in the fixed price new ceiling fan installation service and not the replacement service. Any additional work will incur extra costs and need to be paid to the tradesperson directly.
Any ceiling fans with a blade length greater than 1.4 metres (56 Inches) or units with more than one rotating fan are excluded from the offer.
Disposal of the old ceiling fan is not included in this offer.
Current wiring to the unit must be present and compliant, rewiring or new wiring is only included in the fixed price new ceiling fan installation offer.
If any conditions are not met OR additional work is required to make the install compliant additional charges may apply.
